OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND OWNER OF HINSPO
Founder of HINSPO and a true dreamer with a wilful mind, Nicki inherited the creative gene from her Mum and from a young age she could be found sneaking into her craft room to use the "good" scissors and sewing machine! Harnessing the dream of owning her own business Nicki studied Business and Marketing in UL. She went on to work in Sales, Marketing and IT whilst eventually circling back to her love for design. Nicki's desk is a messy as her mind when it comes to the creative ideas that float about but with new designer Vanessa by her side she manages to balance out the crazy!
VANESSA O' CONNOR
OUR SENIOR DESIGNER
Sitting in her Dad’s workshop, with a sketch pad in hand or wandering around an antique fair on a Sunday evening was what first ignited Vanessa’s passion to create.
Having left for Singapore after graduating from UCC, the pun-loving entrepreneur eventually went on to set up businesses in Vietnam and Budapest before returning home to Ireland. Before joining the Hinspo team, Vanessa worked with international designers
such as London based fashion and textile designer Ella Henry as well as Swedish interior designer and product designer Sofia Holt. Calm, bright, simple spaces that are intuitive to the client’s needs is the
name of the game for this flourishing designer.
